I Worked alongside the Dean of accounting to start a Marist NYSCPA chapter. I also networked and had often meeting with board members from the NYSCPA’s to discuss how Marist students could benefit from a partnership. I planned events throughout the year and organized funding for a trip to the NYCPA headquarters and coordinated students to sit on a Mid-Hudson CPA chapter board meeting.

As VITA representative/ board member, my responsibilities include communicating between the business/finance and accounting departments, managing the volunteer income tax assistant program(VITA) and growing the clubs accounting side.

I am the student ambassador on behalf of Marist College, the host of the Mid-Hudson New York Business Plan Competition. I discus what the competition entails to classes at the college, and am the guest speaker at multiple events throughout the year. I was approached about this position by the past honors director, and now the dean of Mathematics and Science at Marist College because of my passion for learning and acadmeia.
