John is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Infinite Composites, an advanced carbon fiber manufacturing company developing gas storage systems for the launch vehicle and spacecraft markets. He has been a founder and executive at five technology startups across consumer Internet, telecom and enterprise SaaS. He also serves as a product advisor to startups building consumer experiences in online marketplaces. He obtained his MBA from The University of British Columbia where he graduated as a Rosmary Janet Bawden Scholar. During his time at UBC, he interned at Lululemon Athletica where he co-wrote the growth plan to enter the U.S. market when the company was just two stores. Prior to business school, he worked at RBC Capital Markets on the fixed income and foreign exchange trading desks formulating interest rate strategy and conducting macroeconomic research. John holds an MA in Economics from The University of Western Ontario and earned his BSc with Distinction in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Victoria.John is a two-time Ironman triathlon finisher with a finish time in the top 5% of his age group. He has also completed three marathons and two 50-mile ultramarathons.
