Collaborated on summary and presentation of interview findings to NC Medicaid Health Equity Steering Committee to shape ongoing language access policy. •Extensively researched and produced high quality written policy memos, summaries, and commentaries on current NC Medicaid health equity-related policy decisions, including Estate Recovery, Lessons Learned during PHE Unwinding, and recently approved CMS state 1115 Waivers. NC Estate Recovery policy research and memo resulted in Department decision to make estate recovery policy more consumer friendly to NC Medicaid beneficiaries.•Attended, led, and mediated leadership meetings, summarized webinars, and managed various short-term projects to support the Medicaid program with policy analysis and program evaluation. Monitored, analyzed, and reported on federal and state legislation and guidance (e.g., state 1115 waivers, CMS Notices of Proposed Rulemaking, and CMS guidance to enhance federal compliance within the Division and leverage best practices from other states).
