I am a K-12 education outreach program manager for the Texas Advanced Computing Center, which designs and operates some of the world's largest scale parallel computing systems. I design and teach computer science curriculum that blends computational thinking, science, physical computing and cloud infrastructure for programs that serve underrepresented minority students in high school.My other work related activities include:- Teacher professional development in Computer Science- Jupyter notebook extension development- Technology evangelist

I'm a web applications and devops developer. My current work is in React based frontends and FastAPI and Django based middleware deployed on Kubernetes that connect to a deep technology stack that includes High Performance Computing systems.

I taught Android Development in Java to middle school students, made possible by an Android tablet Grant from Google. I also taught Lego Robotics (using an original Java based Android SDK that communicates to devices through a low level bluetooth protocol) and Mathematics through Board Games. I have previously taught Cryptography and Web Development, as well as an extremely successful Culinary Science elective. My coursework also includes applied mathematics and computer science unplugged through European style board games.I formerly was a teacher at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy, where I taught Computer Science (algorithms, data structures, object oriented programming), Computer Networking and was a Cisco Academy instructor. In addition, I sponsored the Student Technology Advisory Council, which was responsible for constructing and maintaining a Linux routed computer network and servers with user management, data storage services and content filtering before the school district made Internet access a standard in schools.

I am currently the head coach, employed by the student club organization. During the 2013-2014 season, UTFC won the Southwest Intercollegiate Fencing Association school title. At the U.S. Collegiate National Fencing Club Championship in 2015, we achieved the 7th highest ranked school with a 1st place Men's foil trophy.

I have provided consultation, design and implementation services for individuals and organizations in need of commercial websites with dynamic content, RSS, Twitter and Facebook integration. I have also implemented REST API services as well as enhanced functionality through Javascript. In addition, I have implemented SOAP and JSON driven sites.

I implemented an MS-SQL/Visual Basic based data store for scientific and experimental data related to the production of Polytrimethylene terephthalate
