One of 4 capstone games developed by the 2017-18 Post Graduate Game Level Design, Game Development: Advanced Programming students and artists from the undergraduate Animation or Game Design program. Agile Game Development in span of 4 months in a team of 5, together we brainstormed, designed and developed a Top-Down , Arcade, Tower Defense survival Snake game in Unity. Pre-Production occurred during Jan-Apr and the final product was completed on August 17th. Designer Duties:- Recorded feedback notes from Round table or Individual meeting with Mentors.- Took down notes during team discussions for organizational and reference purposes.- Conducted play test sessions and analyzing any feedback received from Testers.- Submitted weekly Progress, Plan, Problem (PPP) reports to Mentors for communication purposes.- Brainstormed core Game Mechanics and flow from beginning to end of game play.- Designed game play tiles on Unity.- Compiled a Game Design Document and Level Design Document with fellow designer.- Designed In-Game Tutorial and worked with programmers to implement it into Unity.- Managed Social Media Presence UI Designer Duties:- Designed a mock-up of the User Interface- Created 1st and 2nd pass of UI graphics on Illustrator- Implemented graphics of the UI in Unity- Programmed UI to successfully displays the appropriate information to the player while not interfering with the user experience.
