The prospect finding-conversion involved a lot of techno-marketing/sales expertise. From building the list of Business owners to contact, to contact them in the best possible ways (Phone, Skype, e-mail, fax, Social media) at the best time (many time zones), to getting their interest, to following up, to converting them into our Clients. I had the goodluck of converting about 35 Clients in votra. It was a solid marketing & sales experience in Votra which and both benefited a lot from the partnership in terms of learning & profits.However, in this period I realized the importance of the term 'Inside Sales', or Business Leads in this Industry, where most deals are made not physically, but through technology. This made me pursue the art of Client Prospecting.

AuroIn brought out the International marketer in me in the field of Online advertising. In the short stay at AuroIn I got a solid experience of the Online / SEO Industry, International sales & marketing. As an SEO conultant I had to call/followup SEO prospects and sell them search engine optimization, other digital marketing services. I realized the importance of solid discipline and targeted approach can work wonders in making outbound sales. I was calling, emailing, Skyping and following up with more than 60 Leads a day, and it paid off well. I had a splendid performance there and I won quite a few accolades in sales.

It was a campus recruiment fresh out of College. Here I was part of a team of 5 high performing executives. My job responsibility was building amd implementing strategies with my Team on how to reach the urban as well as rural population for Health Insurance services. Everybody needs insurance, right? It involved a lot of appointment setting, calling, meetings. Which was aimed at closing sales and meeting the quarterly revenue targets. The job was of a B2C direct marketing nature.I had a good exposure of the Corporate, of Bombay, of the real world. But the insurance services didn't really click with me. I always had an Entrepreneur in me, and I wanted to try that before anything else, so I founded the Advantage Academy in 2009.
