Current• Track medical information and complete medical forms for 150 students with developmental delays in speech, in motor skills, and those with cerebral palsy • Work with Department of Health auditors to prepare NYC reports for staff and student medical records• Coordinate closely with the social workers and therapists assigned to each student to ensure up-to-date care• Keep daily logs of accidents, sicknesses, treatments, asthma related problems, scheduling medical appointments with the resident Doctor as necessary and based on priority• Notify parents of all mandatory vaccinations and medical form requirements• Prepare quarterly accident reports - which include injuries to students - for presentation to the safety committee board.• Attend to children during their medical visits; assist with treatments and first aid• Call parents and all necessary personnel when children are absent On-call substitute teacher, leading classrooms of up to 18 children through daily lessons
