Pro AV Solutions is Australia's leading AV integration company, working on some of the nation's biggest & most prestigious AV projects. In my role, I helped delivered such projects at Amazon, Greenstone Financial, and Brookfield Asset Management by programming AV control systems, configuring DSP audio, and ensuring that installations met the highest quality standards. I also developed custom software automation tools to assist in the deployment of AV devices on our sites, and was recognised for my performance with an Employee of the Quarter award.

The Codebots platform is the world’s first Model-Driven Software as a Service bot. The platform automates code generation, writing up to 92.68% of web and mobile application code. At Codebots, I was part of the support team, helping developers remain productive by providing technical support. I also contributed to the codebase, writing automated tests for apps using the Cucumber/Selenium framework

As part of my final year thesis, I worked with the Brisbane City Council under the CEED program. In this project, I developed an IoT monitoring device via the LoRaWAN network to measure load currents and voltages. The purpose of this device was to detect, and gather data on the circumstances of non-fault trips in public lighting circuits.

In this role, I worked as a teaching assistant for the subject "Building IT systems", introducing students to programming concepts in Python, HTML, and SQL. I was responsible for overseeing computer labs of up to 30 students, as well as marking their quizzes and assignments. This role required soft skills as well as management skills to identify which students required more focused support, and critical evaluation skills when marking assessment.

As a salesperson, I was responsible for customer assistance, as well as the maintenance of store premises. This role required quick thinking to adapt to different customer inquiries, and communication skills to assist customers in finding the right pair of sunglasses for their needs.

In this role, I operated a homework support phone line for students from grade 1-12. Over this line, I would provide assistance to students in science, mathematics, and other subjects. I was also responsible for drafting, and providing feedback to assignments submitted by students. This role required creative thinking to come up with approaches to educate students, and communication skills to express and explain concepts to them.

I was awarded a scholarship under Vacation Research Experience Scheme (VRES), an undergraduate research program in QUT. For 10 weeks, I worked under Dr Matthew McKague, learning in his field of quantum computing, and contributing to his research efforts. As part of the program, I produced an academic paper, and presented my findings to a conference of peers.
