My name is Jón Einar Hjartarson and I’m a graphic designer from Reykjavík. I have lived in Berlin for the past few years working as a freelance designer for various small business and artists based here in Berlin and in Reykjavík.I graduated from The Iceland University of the Arts in 2014 with a degree in graphic design. Prior to that I had worked as a web and graphic designer for businesses in Reykjavik along with four month internship in graphic design at the Exberliner Magazine in Berlin.In Berlin I have had the pleasure of working for different variety of clients like The Graviola Tea Company where I designed labels for their various tea products or Lunch Vegaz where I collaborated with a colleague and did pictures for their ready made vegan meal packages. Then there’s promotional material for the Photography bookshop Bildband Berlin along with a website and logo for Textasmiðjan an Icelandic book publishing company just to name a few. Parallel to that I have also been working for the online stock photo provider Shutterstock reviewing their vector images before they get submitted to the online database
