Currently I am a student and work full time at Liberty University Online. I work as an Academic Advisor assisting students with their schedules and guiding them through their academic program. Before working at Liberty University I worked at Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor and would lead my co-workers and organize the shift. Mainly I would delegate tasks, manage inventory, and close the store in the evenings. Before working at Starbucks I was a stay at home mom for ten years. That experience honed my multitasking and management skills that allowed me to move fairly seemlessly in to the workforce again. I am working towards a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I took a long break of over ten years when I had my children and just finished my first semester since returning to college and am proud to have made the Dean's list. My goal is to pursue a Master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I desire to help people who are struggling through difficult times and trauma.
