Leading a team of 4 members I am responsible for the following functions:(a) Revenue accrual: monthly accrual and analysis of revenue. Revenue is accrued on timesheet filled, FTEs and expense. The revenue is analysed basis client contract, previous months, invoices, etc(b) Revenue forecasting: forecasting revenue every quarter and reporting. The revenue is forecasted based on duration of project and budget allocated.(c) CE Commission: Calculating monthly / quarterly commission to client executives as per the revenue accrual, quota achievement, collections and other parameters.As a core member of ERP team, we had successfully implemented ERP in our organization. I had made several automation / enhancements in different processes in the ERP system for smooth functioning.Achievements: 2 outstanding performance award and 3 best team work award. 2 certificates of appreciation from University of Hartford, USA for participating in CSR activity.

I was responsible for collections, sending weekly AR report to group-heads, vendor payments, cash disbursement and other accounting work. Also responsible for identifying vendor and negotiating rate, quality checks for procuring IT consumables, stationery and materials for production team.Achievement: With rigorous follow-up, I was able to collect 1 crore payment from a client within 2 month, which was pending for more than 1 year when I joined the company. I received an appreciation from GM-Finance for this.

In SUMAL I was looking after opening letter of credit in bank, raising invoice on principle for shipment executed, tracking of sales orders, shipments and delivery. Responsible for regular accounting activity like cash handling, voucher entry, etc.

I was responsible for raising monthly retainer invoices, tracking timesheets and invoicing for additional hours worked, reconciliation of bank and customer accounts, preparing MIS reports for senior management. I was also responsible for reviewing client contracts and calculating monthly retainer as per the scope of engagement.Achievement: First invoice of Rs.5 lacs, for additional timesheet was raised in September 2000 and I was solely involved in calculation, discussion with client and raising invoice.

Promotion activity in school, petrol pump, stalls, etc. Some of our major clients included Cadbury’s, Tropicana, Hindustan Lever, MM Publications, etc.We conducted the following activities:i. Door-to-door marketing for MM Publication’s Vanita magazine.ii. Brand promotion of Tropicana juice by free sampling in petrol pumps.iii. Free sampling of iodine salt in schools for HLL.iv. Road show near colleges on Valentine’s Day to promote Cadbury’s chocolates.

I was responsible for handing database of residents, companies, high profile individuals category-wise and use them for direct marketing projects. I was also assisting the accountant in voucher entry, invoice generation, etc.

Being a fresher I learnt the accounting work of book keeping, ledger entries, etc. I was also going to company’s audit office to post the vouchers in computer.
