• Researched and developed a POC for a complete automated path planning of unmanned rovers on planetary bodies. • Technologies like Image Stitching, YOLO for object detection, 3D reconstruction, Top Down Projection and A* Algorithm was used to deliver this POC. • This POC allowed the rover to be completely autonomous, allowing for significant reduction in time and manual efforts required to plan the path of the rover. • Python, TensorFlow, Image Stitching, SIFT, YOLO, 3D reconstruction, A* Star algorithm

• Developed an efficient Star pattern recognition algorithm using neuralnetworks. This neural net allowed extra-terrestrial objects to identify Star pattern to know its gauge its accurate location. • Cleaned a huge dataset of raw star coordinates and mapped the cleaned coordinates onto images which were used to train a CNN neural network.
