Accomplishments included the design and facilitation of a new library service construct through policy development and capacity building measures including a new organizational structure, new job descriptions, alignment of activity reporting structures in support of an output based budget (statistics, activities, time use, and resource allocations). This two-year contract provided an international work experience that culminated in the development of the first formal strategic plan for the public library service – The Cayman Islands Public Library Service Strategic Directions 2012-2017.

Additional responsibilities included serving as the bookkeeper and acting executive director for the library system foundation from its inception until 2009 during a capital campaign that successfully raised $12 million dollars for a new 40,000 square foot main library.
