At Helix, I am responsible for designing and maintaining IT infrastructures for our internal infrastructure and customers' projects. I install, configure, and monitor systems to maintain optimal performance. Additionally, I troubleshoot issues, administer servers, and manage service-level agreements. I also provide technical support to users, manage information and budgets, ensure legal compliance and security, oversee the backup and recovery process for our virtual machine and physical servers, and manage vulnerabilities. This requires me to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and to create supporting documentation for my team and customers. To do so, I possess specific technical skills in Linux, Windows, Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, Microsoft Visio, VMware vSphere, and VMWare ESXi, Cisco IOS, as well as experience with storage area networks and network-attached storage, with software like Open-E and Enterprise ECM systems like OpenText's Content Server. Finally, I excel in communication, negotiation, problem-solving, incident management, and leadership.
