As a leading expert in Contemporary Art from Africa and the diaspora, Kimberley combines her curatorial and advisory roles to create a new model through which to champion art from the continent and beyond.Kimberley Cunningham graduated as valedictorian of Central Saint Martins (London) in 2015, specializing in Art Criticism & Curation. After graduating she went on to work at Gagosian Gallery (London) and Goodman Gallery (Johannesburg, Cape Town & London).Fully entrenched in the Art circuit for the past ten years she has travelled to most major Art Fairs including Frieze (New York, London & Los Angeles), Basel Miami, Art X Lagos, Cape Town Art Fair and Jo’Burg Art Fair, as well as the Venice and Sydney Biennales, and openings of Museums such as Zeitz MOCAA and The Norval Foundation.Her clients range from corporate collections and established Blue Chip private collectors, to those looking to make their first acquisition.Passionate about empowering women in the creative sector, Kimberley is the Founder of WIA Africa (Women in Art Africa), a platform dedicated to support, encourage and mentor art professionals across the continent.
