However, the major responsibility to handle was when the company bought land at various places in U.P. for… Show more As the sole Legal Consultant in the Company, have prepared numerous types of agreements which includes License Agreements, Confidentiality, Lease Agreements, Management Takeover Agreement, MoUs, Service Agreement, etc. Got the chance to form 3 different societies (end to end responsibility) for the Company and have taken over 5 different societies running the schools in upcountry. However, the major responsibility to handle was when the company bought land at various places in U.P. for its schools. The processes handled while buying land from farmers included negotiations, through due diligence/verification of marketable title/consultation of master plan in respect of land, ensuring kurrebandi (demarcation) and change in land use, obtained necessary NoCs from local authorities like revenue office/municipal commission/development authority, preparation of necessary documents, like agreement to sell, sale deed, calculation of stamp duty, registration process, survey of land. Also ensured that the construction over the land is in accordance with the National Building Code. In addition to the above, handled IPR/Copyright registrations, compliance issues under Right to Education for schools being run by the society, PF, ESI, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Workmen Compensation, Gratuity, maintenance of requisite registers, etc.Apart from the above was responsible for to take care of all the legal matters pertaining to the Company, its subsidiaries and societies.
