As an active member in the Pi Rho chapter of America's foremost Co-Ed Business Professional Fraternity, it has been my duty to participate in a semester long pledging process consisting of community service, professional, fundraising, and social based events. Now, as a brother, I work to achieve and maintain professional brotherhood by attending weekly chapter meetings and participating in chapter events in order to foster the study of business as well as strive for the betterment of my university, my fellow brothers, the fraternity as a whole, as well as the community!

This role was an extension of my previous internship with Target, but in a different location and with a focus in Human Resources rather than overall business operations. Through this part-time internship role I was able to shadow the Human Resources Executive Team Lead through her daily activities which included hiring, staffing, and onboarding, keeping track stabilization reports as well as other HR Reports and Metrics, abiding by and enforcing laws, handling conflicts, and implementing recognition and incentive programs. This was an extremely valuable experience which enhanced both my skills and knowledge on Human Resources as a whole as well as all the behind the scenes HR work that is done in order to run a successful business.

As a store executive intern for Target I focused on learning the ins and outs of the retail business. In retail, every day is different, but the role primarily focuses on leading and motivating a team, driving sales results, and merchandising products all while ensuring an exceptional experience for the guests. Throughout this rewarding internship experience I was able to shadow the Human Resources Executive Team Lead, General Merchandise ETL, Specialty Sales ETL, and Service and Engagement ETL to witness and learn all that is necessary in order to lead a team and run a successful retail business. Through hands on work I was able to understand that although each department focuses on their own individual specialties, they all work hand in hand, helping and impacting one another and the overall business's success.

I began working as a caretaker for Christina, a local Amherst resident, back in January 2020. Christina is a 25 year old girl with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As her individualized day support care taker, it is my responsibility to help Christina with her everyday tasks while providing a safe and enjoyable environment. During our time together, pre-COVID, from January 2020-March 2020, I would help assist Christina in attending her weekly art classes as well as day trips to the gym and other outings. Due to COVID, we were forced to take a break from our in person work together, but have since reunited, working together in virtual sessions. Starting in September of 2020, Christina and I have begun working together via weekly zoom sessions to connect whether it be free style dance, Harry Potter readings, or just connecting and catching up. It is my job to make sure Christina feels supported and is able to engage in all available opportunities!

SCH-MGMT 191T, more commonly just referred to as "Transitions", is a first year seminar required for all first year students within the Isenberg School of Management here at UMass. As a teaching assistant for this semester long class, it has been my responsibility to successfully lead and facilitate weekly zoom classes for first year Isenberg students. In these weekly classes I act as a mentor to these first year students, helping them navigate their new school, presenting them with resources, and overall introducing them to the Isenberg community! My duties include attending a weekly Teaching Assistant class led by Isenberg directors, facilitating weekly zoom sessions for my first year students, and grading their work while providing insightful feedback.

As a server at the Irish Cultural Center of Western New England, it is my job to ensure that every guest's experience is amazing as possible. I must manage many tables in a hectic, fast paced work environment while assisting to all customer's needs. In order to guarantee that guests feel welcome and satisfied with their service, I make sure to attentively assist to them in a friendly and timely manner. It is also essential to effectively communicate with and work alongside management and other staff in order to maintain productivity in the restaurant.

As a camp counselor at Arbors Kids LLC, it was my job to ensure the safety and well being of my campers, while also remaining a role model for them. I was responsible for 20 third grade campers for 40 hours a week throughout the summer. In order to provide a safe, caring, and enjoyable environment, I was responsible for planning and leading weekly activities. Teamwork and communication with my co-counselors proved extremely useful and necessary in carrying out these tasks and to ensure that the whole program ran smoothly.

I began babysitting in the summer of 2013 when I was thirteen years old and ambitious to start working. I have babysat for multiple families in my two years of experience and have cared for children ranging from ages 3 to 12. I successfully created a safe and enjoyable environment for children by planning and organizing entertaining and educational activities for them to carry out.
