The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is a new regulation by the European Union (EU) that aims to enhance the transparency and consistency of sustainability reporting by companies. The CSRD will replace the existing Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD) and will expand the scope of reporting requirements. As a part of my master's thesis, I am conducting a materiality assessment according to the European Sustainability Standards (ESRS) and the CSRD for a company. Furthermore, I am going to calculate a CO2 footprint according to the Greenhouse-Gas-Protocol (GHG).
