Pretty Paper & Co. specializes in stationery + branding + photography. I focus on modern yet classic designs that are created with an obsession to detail and a whole lot of heart. Based out of a small South Dakota town near Sioux City, Iowa, I work with brides, creatives, and small businesses across the country.

Lincoln, Nebraska

I am responsible for building, maintaining, overseeing, and evaluating the marketing team along side the marketing director. I produce and direct successful lead generating campaigns including branding, printed materials, direct mail, exhibit materials, email, web, and social media. In addition, I write, design, redesign, edit, and disseminate lead generating content while managing and enhancing multiple websites and social media accounts. Once a month, I produce, market, and host live webinars. I also photograph clients and their practices.

Sioux City, Iowa

I taught four graphic design classes to upper-level students including Production I, Production II, Production III, and Senior Exhibition. I provided an in-depth look at the visual organization in graphic design with a focus on conceptual development and print production. The main goal in each of my interdisciplinary courses was to have each student address, through self-authored graphic design projects, social, environmental, political, linguistic, philosophical, and cultural issues across the academic spectrum.

Sioux City, Iowa

I worked with high school students that were low-income and/or first-generation who were at risk to not go on to higher education upon graduation. I redesigned and updated all graphic pieces used to recruit as well as created and designed new monthly activities to motivate students on to higher education and designed information and educational handouts for these activities. Additionally, I provided academic, financial, career, and personal counseling to these students while helping them explore career choices. I administrated aptitude assessments, exposed students to college campuses, and assisted them in post-secondary admissions and the financial aid process. I also collected data for and proofread grants in order to keep this program going.

Sioux City, Iowa

I designed admissions promotional pieces and redesigned enrollment pieces used to recruit prospective students while managing the BCU Admissions' social media accounts. I also counseled students through the admissions process, including acceptance, scholarship application, and financial aid opportunities. Once admitted to the university, I advised students on choosing classes. Monthly, I planned, organized, and directed campus open houses.
