- Performed as a regulatory approval agency on the behalf of Qatar Petroleum to oversee the environmental compliance for the cluster of Industries (Metal, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, Gas Processing) established at Mesaieed Industrial City. - Spearheaded development of the Environmental Regulations for Mesaieed Industrial City.- Review of Environmental Scoping Study Report, Environmental Impact Assessment Study Report, Construction Environmental Management Plan, and Initial Environmental Permit Application for upcoming industries like Qatar Aluminium Company, expansion of Qatar Steel, Qatar Chemical Company, Gulf Chlorine, KLJ Organics, etc. - Lead a team of professionals for Environmental Compliance Audit for Major Industries like Qatar Steel, Qatar Petrochemical Company, Qatar Fertilizer Company, Qatar Vinyl Chemical, Qatar Chemical Company, Qatar Fuel Additives, Inspection, and Incident Investigations. - Ensuring environmental monitoring of the Industrial City which includes Marine Environment Monitoring, Ground Water Monitoring, Ambient Air Monitoring, and Noise Level Monitoring.- Spearheaded the commissioning of the National Hazardous Waste Treatment Center and Effluent Treatment Plant. - Plan, coordinate and oversee the Operation & Maintenance of the National Hazardous Waste Treatment Center, Industrial City Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Landfill Operation.- Budget preparation and monitoring of the annual OPEX and CAPEX Budget for the projects. - Identification, development, and setting up of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Management reports, and Monthly reports for the department. - Identifying and establishing productive applications for hazardous waste.

Spearheaded implmentation of Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO-14001. Develop and Implemented fugitive emission monitoring program in line with US EPA Method 21. Hazardous Waste Characterization and coordinated disposal. Environmental Audit and QMS Audit.

Spearheaded the setting-up of the Environmental Division, Environmental Management System across the site, and Environmental Training Program for all levels of the employees. Played a key role in the commissioning of the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Optimization drive, and hazardous waste reuse program. - Held positions from Environmental Engineer to Manager Environment as well as Environmental Management Representative (EMR). - Planning of the Environmental issues related to existing plant, proposed modification and up coming projects. - Liaise and ensure compliance with Ministry of Environment, Central Pollution Control Board and Gujarat Pollution Control Board, and Central Pollution Control Board. - Lead a team of professionals to plan, develop, and implement Environmental Management System in accordance with international standard ISO – 14001. - Perform audit and carry out performance evaluation of Central Wastewater Treatment Facility & various Pollution Control equipment. - Perform Environmental Review / Appraisal of the new / modified facilities. - Waste to recycling program - evaluation of waste purchaser and audited their facilities. - Provide a monitoring function in assigned area and ensured that safe environmental practices are being applied during normal plant operation and shutdown activities. - Participate in project hand-over activities starting from the mechanical completion, PSSUR, pre-commissioning and commissioning of wastewater treatment plant.
