As a peer tutor at UNH TRiO Student Support Services, I help under-represented peers succeed in their academic courses through weekly 1:1 meetings. I also foster a growth mindset in them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. I report to my supervisors regularly to provide feedback and improve the quality of the service.I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Spanish at the University of New Hampshire, where I also work as an academic mentor at CFAR and a resident assistant. I have developed skills in time management, writing, communication, and community building through these roles. I am passionate about learning new languages and cultures, and I have received multiple honors and certifications for my academic and professional performance. As a first-generation college student, I value my education and strive to create a path for future generations, which is why I am looking into pursuing a Master's in Communication Science Disorders.
