• Timely escalation to L2/ Project Manager for any issues not resolved at L1 level, in order to avoid operational delays. • Coordinating with other network team members for problem resolution if need be.• We use Smart Console (which comprises of Smart view Dashboard, Smart view Tracker and Smart view Monitor) for checking policies, traffic flow through Checkpoint Firewall and routing table.• Prepare technical documentation for implementation plan and installation.• We raise RFC’s (Request for Change) and PCR’s (Policy Change Request) as per customer request and notify them once it is implemented.• Take Backup of devices on a regular basis, ensure critical services diagram and IP schema is updated.• Consolidate daily report of CPU, memory utilization of devices (switches and routers) and link utilization of commissioned and upgraded leased lines. • As part of festival readiness, spare devices are upgraded to latest IOS version in case of device failure. • Handling network uptime as per SLA (Service Level Agreement)• Prepare daily and monthly report for downtime calculation.• Maintain asset inventory for devices in production and spare.• Actively participate in team meetings conducted weekly.
