Profile bio

About Kasandra O'Malia

I am the bicycle rider, jammer 7 of 9, and the vegan baker. I wield swords and ropes and calculators; and I am the mother of satellitesI have over 12 years experience in science and engineering performing calibrations, testing, assembly, integration, and operation on spacecraft, scientific marine instruments, and medical devices. I have worn many hats from machining, soldering, and designing test equipment; documenting, performing, and automating tests; analyzing and presenting test results; communicating project status with customers; creating requirements models and preparing formalized documentation; to being lead engineer for two separate spacecraft missions. While most of my experience is in aerospace engineering, I am looking to put my skills in the lab, in data analysis, and as a team member and leader to fighting climate change. My many hats worn are a testament to my ability to not only learn, but to own the new skills that are required to get the job done.

Listed skills include Testing, Data Analysis, Sensors, Matlab, and 26 others.
