Jacobs India has been engaged by HOWE Engineering Projects India Pvt. Ltd. (Adani, Australia) for detailed design of the upgradation of Belyando Junction Dam. Adani intend to increase the total storage volume of the dam from 2.2 Gigalitres (GL) to 10 GL through the construction of an adjoining 5 GL cell (Reservoir 1) and the upgrade of the existing storage to 5 GL (Reservoir 2) with associated structures such as inlet, outlet and high level transfer. The increase storage capacity will support water harvesting for construction and operational activities associated with the Carmichael Coal Mine and Rail project.Responsibilities:Developed Civil3D model for the reservoir 1 and 2. Developed reservoir GA drawing with reservoir long sections at various locations.

The South Dhahran Home Ownership – SDHO development site is located within the city of Dhahran in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. The SDHO community consists of approximately 8,000 residential plots, community support facilities and commercial areas of 10.2 km2.Responsibilities:Developed Civil 3D model for pressure network (Potable and Irrigation) and Gravity (Storm and Sewer Network). The HA to Ramsgreave SR pipeline is located in the North West of England. Water is taken from the Martholme WTW using a new duty/standby pump arrangement within an existing pumping station. Water (13 MLD) is delivered to a Break Pressure Tank by means of the rising main of length approximately 6.4km, composed of a combination of DI and PE pipes of 500/450/400 mm diameters. The Talla Reservoir is the major source of water for Edinburgh city. The Talla Aqueduct runs in a single tunnel for most of its length split by seven siphons. The siphons are each composed of three parallel pipelines. The first pipeline was constructed at the same time as the aqueduct.
