I coach the program manager and enable the development of product strategy, drive adoption, improve performance and ensure the quality of the product. - I lead the hackathon initiative at the Digital Engineering Solutions section. It's an initiative to identify important business problems of strategic and long-term importance for the Digital Engineering Solution section and conduct GEA India-wide hackathons to solve them. In 2021, I developed standard work to execute hackathons and conducted two such hackathons, which yielded excellent solutions.

I am leading the sourcing digital program & responsible for delivery analytical tools/services which empower product cost out and sourcing deflation.• I am the program manager for the sourcing digital program responsible for site-level cost out target achievement. As part of this, I lead a team of 6 engineers. I am responsible for the delivery of should-cost estimates and analytics to find cost-out opportunities. I partner with sourcing in should cost based negotiations with suppliers.• I partner with the sourcing team and enable them to drive various strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple engine programs. Some recent initiative that I was part of are developing strategy for long term agreement negotiations, identifying parts to be moved to best cost country, identifying alternate ways to manufacture thereby broadening the supplier base (e.g., moving to stock machining from casting), conducting hotel bids, perform make v/s buy decision, identify optimum supplier share, etc.• I am the product owner for part classification product. I have hands on experience in all phases of this data science product. I collected training data, cleaned it, engineered features and trained classification algorithms (CATBOOST, Random forest, Naïve Bayes and multinomial logistics regression). This product enables sourcing and engineering use part classification to organize cost-out hunting, promote reuse of parts, strategic supplier alignment, and rationalization of vendors.• I am leading Variable Cost Productivity training at Bangalore site and since 2018 I have trained 200+ aviation engineers in VCP tools and practices.• I am the consultant to GEA aPriori based should cost model development project and responsible for the design and quality of the models.

Led the enterprise-wide program to improve should cost penetration & yield.• I was part of the global team executing strategy for driving should cost usage across GE business with a focus on supplier negotiation and engineering design trade-off. As part of this team, I was directly involved in the following:• Influenced & coached businesses to adopt variable cost productivity tools and techniques. Developed and deployed should cost and design to cost training programs across GE and trained 1500+ global employees.• Led the GE wide sharable physics-based bottoms up aPriori should cost model development program. Partnered with the engineering team in competitive teardown events and generated should cost of competition parts.• Successfully built cost analytics dashboards/tools to generate product cost out ideas.
