The Team consisted of about 35 professionals including Hydraulic and Water Supply Engineers, Structural Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Electrical Expert, Mechanical Expert, Instrumentation & SCADA expert, Procurement Expert, Financial Expert, IT Expert working as PMU for M/s Karnataka Rural Water Supply Board under Jal Jeevan Mission involved in providing potable water to rural households across all districts of the State. The Project was jointly funded by the Central and State Governments with an outlay of several thousands of crores.My role as Dy. Team Leader included coordination in vetting and certification of PSR's submitted by Consultants appointed by the Client, DSR's/ DPR's submitted by designated EPC Contractors, and scheme wise vetting the BOQ and certification of quantities and costs for pre-Tendering of Projects, assisting the Client in interview and recruitment of PMU staff for the Project in the Capacity of DTL, overall coordination in proof checking and certification of detailed Structural designs and drawings submitted by the EPC Contractor, attending and participating in meetings/ presentations organized by the Client with stake holders such as Consultants for discussion of Preliminary schemes and by EPC Contractors for discussion of the Project specifics.
