My greatest strength is in transferring/applying skills from one discipline to another, while concurrently picking up a fresh set of skills in a new discipline — in other words, cross-disciplinary talent stacking for the future of work. With my current role in operations analytics and past roles in tech, solutions (sales engineering), systems analysis, process improvement, retail sourcing and supply chain, I continue to use each experience to build upon the other. This helps me develop a range of functional skills across an enterprise. Transitioning through such different roles has taught me to perform under ambiguity and uncertainty, and to learn on-the-job without a formal training period.My career purpose and goal is to develop into a well-rounded general manager and leader who can identify the right problems and solve them. As it often happens in the business world, problems tend to be cross-disciplinary — this is where I enjoy operating.
