In this period I made lot more cost savings by material reconciliations. And earn more extra by cost proposals which are mostly missing at the pre-contract stage. Every new works and variation works went under my lead and after my involvement of bidding process and BOQs. Select through contingencies and allowed provisions to stabilize the project cash flow. In the mean time I had to check and certify service related subcontractors’ payment applications. Including negotiation/ finalize meetings. Again I had to involve with omissions and additions process.

In this period my main involvements went through civil-mechanical works mostly industrial structural steel of costings and estimations. I could earn many projects to the company by visiting and giving competitive engineer estimations to clients. Also in those designed and build jobs were managed with my involvement until end of the pre-contract period by giving major material forecast to engineering team. When selecting a venders for service related work had been an always correct decision and I had to make them by considering cost, delivery time and its installation methods. Also I had to join with the Procurement team before assigning to the Tendering team.

In the period of this company I had to work with many documentation, bidding procedures and pre-bid meetings to respond the clients. In the first stage of offering preliminary estimates were done by using previous similar projects and it was an easy to manage time for minimize the period of design finalizing with minimum complications with clients. And after the quantifying drawings and feeding with standard details to BOQs was at a better practice to my profession. Calling quotations from outsourcers comparing with clients’ requirements was bit of a work. And accordance with standard bidding documents, I had to prepare before bid open to the public. After the pre-bid meeting I had to find solutions for queries arise from contractor side and reply them discussing with the design team. In the stages of project management, I had to certify the payment applications with actual work done. Most of my involvements supports the company by wining many clients’ job offers within the period.

Rate Analysis, Making BOQs, Preparing Bills

Daily expenses balancing, Daily material & store balancing, Monthly progress report preparing, Administration on workman salaries & in store, all document part, etc.
