NQT French and Spanish teacherMy background is in teaching English as a foreign language, both as a voluntary role to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in York, UK and as a professional role to children and young people in different regions of France. I also taught English to adults as part of my CELTA course which I completed in August 2017 through York St John University. Teaching various languages and ages has allowed me to develop teaching skills such as classroom management, pastoral care, time management and language related skills such as interpretation and translation.After completing my Gold Duke of Edinburgh in college I completed a Lowland Leader award through Mountain Training which allowed me to pursue a freelance career of leading Duke of Edinburgh in North Wales and North West England. My passion for the outdoors also allowed me to hike from coast-to-coast along the Hadrians Wall Path in 2015 and solo hike the Camino de Santiago in 2018.
