Worked as a professional Geologist for over 35 years in Geological Survey of India (GSI) in various capacities and in varied terrains of India and in Antarctica. Also worked as a Perspective Planner in Planning Commission (now NITI Ayog) as a Researcher and Member of various Working Groups constituted by the Planning Commission, New Delhi for the Eighth Five Year Plan. Successfully carried out a Limestone Investigation in Congo, Africa for establishing the cement grade limestone resources. I am also specialised in geological mapping and mineral exploration, having worked in tough terrains of U.P., Kashmir and Ladakh Himalayas. Also posess five years of teaching experience as senior Faculty in GSI Training Institute, and imparted training in geological mapping to the newly recruited geologists of GSI and PG students of Geology of different Indian Universities, besides serving as Guest Professor for M Arch students in Bengaluru University. Published 30 research papers in peer reviewed reputed journals of India and abroad.
