This involved information finding and extraction to ensure that all the needs of the projects were met. Once appropriate costs were determined applications for funding were submitted with our assistance and further to funding being awarded, accounts were opened and monitored for the duration of the projects which could sometimes be for up to five years. Award conditions had to be checked regularly and adhered to in order that they were prepared for audit. Other aspects of the role included preparing monthly reports for Directors and the University Court, attending budget meetings with schools and units to provide ongoing analysis and allocating budgets accordingly and setting up accounts and cost centres on Aptos system as required. -
