I got asked by my previous internship manager to return in assisting him to co-manage the Victoria region's agency. This role was primary managing the social enterprise and marketing departments as we generated the funding required to operate the volunteer mentorship programs for the youth in the community. Our operations did not only help the children in need but also diverted over 25,000 pounds of reusable goods from our landfills each week. As a manager in the agency, I lead the team to break monthly sales targets with my new techniques and hands on team training. I had also worked closely with the Executive Director to create a 3 year business plan for the agency as I assessed its operations, risks, and opportunities. The responsibility was huge and I am proud to manage such a passionate team who are eager to make a difference in our environment and our community of youth.
