I am a Senior at Rutgers University- Newark in which I study business management. I hope to become a sports agent one day, but my occupation as of now is basketball officiating. As a basketball official, I oversee the whole basketball court and manage the game. The ultimate goal of officiating is to teach kids how to play the sport correctly and to keep the game in hand. I love officiating because I still get to be around the game of basketball which I fell in love with in third grade. Even though I do not play competitively anymore, I love the fact that the game of basketball has given back to me as much as it did. This platform allows me to impact the youth positively and guide them to the right direction.
