Tell me if you can relate: sustainability is ever-changing, demand seems to come in every form, and it’s difficult to know where to start, what to invest in, and how to talk about it. That’s where I come in! For my M-F, I feel fortunate and stoked to work for Parallel who is bringing clarity to the often choppy and foggy waters of sustainability — specifically supporting companies to make committed change and be able to talk about it. Our integrated support model gets manufacturers from “What?” to “Whew” (wipes sweat from forehead and smiles) overnight, and our support extends to A+D firms and non-profits. I love learning about your challenges and unknowns around sustainability within the built environment and then helping chart a clear path forward. As a former commercial interior designer and sustainable design leader of over 10 years, I understand both sides of the sustainable materials story very well. I am here to listen to your needs, challenges, demands of your customers, and connect you with an incredible team to support your best strategy for sustainable business investment and success in your market. Outside of that M-F? You’ll probably find me outside reading, skiing, biking, riding horses, or cooking for backcountry trail maintenance groups. I was born near Seattle, WA and spent most of my design career in Denver, CO and Austin, TX before relocating back to the glorious PNW. I’m an explorer of new places — rural and urban — and a connector, exchanging stories and seeking out new perspectives and experiences. I deeply enjoy talking about contributing to a healthier, more circular, and more just world from just about any angle that makes you tick. Yes we have clients, but we’re more interested in building a web of companies that can make a difference within and across their operations.
