The Public-Private Partnership Project was a joint effort between the Abu Dhabi Education Council and numerous Educational Consultancy companies, where private operators worked in local schools to achieve standardized goals for student performance, and align teaching practice with international methods.I worked in the project for two years training teachers in the English and Science departments in a K-12 school. My responsibilities included developing and delivering training programs to local teachers, ranging from how to better manage the classroom to how to create and follow broad unit plans and detailed, individual lesson plans. I was also the lead contact in implementing an electronic student management system on admin computers. Other duties included conducting performance evaluations, creating professional development plans for teachers in the English and Science departments, creating test and exam marking rubrics, and creating any other classroom resource as needed.
