After my Ph.D., I was a Deputy Director of Research and Development at the Brazilian Air Traffic Control Institute, where I had the opportunity to establish a set of partnerships with national and international laboratories and scientific groups and coordinate critical studies about resilience and cyber security in the Air Traffic Control, the impact of the ionosphere in the aviation, remote towers, and air traffic control certifications. After I retired from Brazilian Air Force, I was a PM responsible for developing an autonomous system for aerial inspecting and detecting powerlines anomalies, throwing a set of different Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Another important project in which I was involved was the manager of the design and deployment of the smart grid system and the new Command & Control Center to EDP Brazil. After that, I moved to George Mason University (GMU), where I support the PM in organizing the managing process in the GMU team using PMI best practices, such as the SCRUM Methodology in a DARPA Project, the Anytime Reasoning and Analysis for Kill-Web Negotiation and Instantiation across Domains (ARAKNID) project. Returning to Brazil, I founded a company where I worked on different technologies projects using advanced IT systems, IoT, and machine learning.
