This covered the following key areas: o Service quality at cinema locations focusing on the training and development of front line people; o Robustness and relevance of the digital platforms – Website, App, Kiosk; and o Quality and desirability of the cinema facilities and the food and beverage offerings;• Developing strategies and campaigns to ensure the health, growth and consistency of the company’s brand; • Developing marketing strategies (especially digital) to maximise reach and traffic conversion; • Managing the overall content and programming strategies; and• Working and executing key partnership strategies to increase distribution and cross-marketing capabilities and benefits to loyalty members. The business involved entering into film co-production deals between Astro and other film producers in Malaysia and within the Asian region. There were numerous projects which I was involved in covering the valuation of new businesses and transactions, commercial negotiations for new transactions, managing restructurings and the provision of accounting and financial analysis.
