I've been working in state governmental procurement, budgeting and accounting for the last 14 years. I've acquired a vast amount of institutional knowledge in governmental fund accounting. Through my work experience, I have gone through several legislative budget cycles with the creation of agency Strategic Plans, Legislative Budgets, and reporting requirements of expenditures. I have analytical skills that make me an ideal candidate to research and apply my budgetary and financial accounting knowledge for the creation of capital improvement projects and supplement cash flow shortages with the issuance of bonds. My experience has also taught me important life skills of critical thinking and how to apply methodical financial practices to ensuring a realistic budget that meets the needs of the organization.
