About Kacee Van Horn
My passion is helping nonprofits raise funds to fulfill their missions. My goal is to continue to align over 15 years of professional philanthropy experience to support organizational advancement for nonprofit organizations. I working toward a Nonprofit Executive Leadership Certificate from the Lilly School of Philanthropy (Dec 2024) and am a Development Consultant for multi-sector nonprofits of all sizes. I design and manage institutional giving programs, annual campaigns, capital campaigns, and customized development training. In this role, I work closely with CEOs and boards to design the development strategy, create and manage grant programs, build major donor bases, develop fundraising materials, and provide professional fundraising guidance. I work to build an organization's long-term development capacity and internal fundraising framework to will carry the organization long past my consulting contract. I also serve on the board of Ground Zero Emergency Training Center, an Oklahoma nonprofit that trains Search and Rescue (SAR) canines, provides them to first responders free of charge, and trains them together to become a certified team. I am an avid reader and freelance writer. My hobbies include traveling, gardening, ancestry research, horseback riding, and, most importantly, my family.
