I have worked for Nordstrom for 10years, 7 of them being in management. I have been a part of 3 new store openings, and have been in charge of 2 major events with high profile celebrity appearances, as well as other events within the store. In my current role I oversee 10 employees and one assistant, and in that time have received multiple quarterly awards for the business in my department. In this role I have also have had 5 people under me promoted in a two year span. I regularly have visits from regional managers as well as retail directors and have had visits with members of the Nordstrom family. I help lead meetings to train new employees with groups of up to 20 people. I conduct interviews, hire and terminate employees. I regularly deal with vendors. In my time in the company I have been promoted seven times. I run all cashroom procedures and customer interactions.
