Throughout my recent projects, I’ve taken on key roles in event coordination, student mentorship, and data storytelling for senior leaders. I helped plan and execute a large-scale recruiting event, ensuring smooth transitions and impactful visual communication. As the teaching assistant for the Boldsquare Residency at the University of Tennessee, I support 14 students and the course instructor by facilitating brainstorming sessions and providing constructive feedback to enhance the students’ real-world learning experience. Additionally, I collaborate on compiling and delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership through the Marketing Insights Partnership with Nissan USA. This fast-paced role consistently challenges me to step outside of my comfort zone, stretching my skills in all facets of marketing—from event planning and graphic design to data visualization and storytelling.

As a board member for Mission of Hope, I work alongside a passionate team dedicated to serving families in rural Appalachia. Our efforts focus on providing essential resources like food, clothing, and school supplies to alleviate poverty and bring hope to distressed communities in Tennessee and Kentucky. Alongside my board responsibilities, I occasionally contribute to marketing efforts, offering input on outreach strategies and social media. This role allows me to contribute to impactful programs that make a lasting difference in the lives of those facing economic challenges.

During my time at Josie’s Boutique, I thrived in a fast-paced environment where exceptional customer service was my top priority. I managed merchandise visuals, creating an inviting and organized shopping experience. My responsibilities on the sales floor included managing the register, scheduling salon appointments, fulfilling online orders, and assisting customers in fitting rooms, all while ensuring they received top-notch service. Additionally, I developed Instagram content that boosted customer engagement through live sales, story posts, reels, and static posts.This role also allowed me to step into a leadership position, where I trained all new hires on store processes, values, and expectations. I supervised night and weekend shifts to ensure smooth operations and a consistent customer experience. My time at Josie’s Boutique strengthened my knowledge of customer service, and I believe there's something truly special about remembering a customer's name, building relationships, and ensuring their experience with a brand is a positive one.

During my time at Visit Knoxville, I had the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Communications and Social Strategy, as well as collaborate with a diverse team across various departments. This role offered me a unique perspective on my hometown, Knoxville, from a marketing lens.I contributed by creating short form video content for Instagram and TikTok, showcasing local attractions, and writing blog posts to enhance the city’s online presence. It was exciting to see how these efforts played a role in promoting Knoxville to both visitors and locals. I also gained hands-on experience in SEO optimization and event coordination, particularly working with independent writers on a familiarization tour. This experience broadened my understanding of the dynamic nature of marketing and strengthened my skills in content creation, social media strategy, and collaboration.
