About Kacey Fitzpatrick

I am motivated to help create a more sustainable, beautiful, just, and equitable world. After a 30 year career in designing and building/remodeling single family homes and castles for families, I now advise, invest in, and support non-profit and for-profit ventures that work to improve the world through innovation and social impact. My professional experience includes being a 2x start-up founder (one for-profit, one non-profit), an angel investor, a community organizer, and a residential architecture/construction/sustainability expert. I spent the first 30 years of my career after Stanford, leading and operating a successful, award-winning residential design-build firm in Silicon Valley, where I was an early leader in sustainable building. I was the founder and first Executive Director of a local environmental non-profit focused on educating and supporting people to embrace more sustainability in their daily living. My personal and philanthropic work revolves around affordable housing and food security as foundational issues affecting low-income, immigrant and at-risk populations in California. I support, advise, and volunteer with multiple nonprofits operating in these areas, as well as in environmental, social, economic, and racial equity.
