I was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, and moved to the United States when I was 17. My roots have taught me the value of community and resilience while embracing new opportunities. I genuinely love helping others in any way I can, and I have a passion for exploring the world, especially mountainous places. A perfect day for me is sitting on the side of a big mountain surrounded by grass, snow, or flowers, taking in all of God’s beautiful creation.I recently graduated from Rider University, where I focused on Organizational Communication, Leadership, and Development. My time there was full of incredible opportunities that helped shape me into who I am today. I:1)Worked on several internships in marketing and communications, gaining hands-on experience in the field.2)Studied journalism and strategic communications in South Korea, where I learned about global media and cultural perspectives.3)Mentored incoming freshmen, helping them navigate college life.4)Took on leadership roles in student organizations and partnered with nonprofits to raise awareness and funds for meaningful causes.5)Represented Rider as a student ambassador, connecting with prospective students and the community.Each of these experiences helped me grow in confidence, adaptability, and purpose. They’ve also shown me how much I enjoy collaborating with others and making a difference in whatever I do.Looking ahead, I’m excited to use my communication skills, leadership experience, and global perspective to thrive in marketing, public relations, or any role that allows me to connect with people and share impactful messages. I’m always open to learning, growing, and connecting with others who share similar passions.
