Problem solving has always been a passion of mine. It doesn't matter what the problem is; a riddle, a puzzle, a maths question or a coding challenge, they are all problems and I love solving them. It should come as no surprise that I was instantly taken with programming; it lets me put my skills and knowledge to the test while also allowing for creative thinking. Even better, there's always new things to learn: new languages, frameworks, toolkits and so much more! Being an avid gamer, I wanted to put my two passions together. I knew I wanted to write code and I knew I wanted work in the video game industry, but I wasn't sure what exactly I would be doing until I took the Intro to AI module during my second year at university. AI was such a fascinating topic to me, with so many possibilites. I knew then that I wanted to apply what I had learned into the context of video games. AI is an integral part of video games and could make or break a game. The idea of making my own AI was exhilarating.I have recently achieved a First-Class Honours in my Computer Science MSci degree at King's College London, with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence. I would like to join a small video game company where I can put my skills to use while also expanding my knowledge. I'm a quick learner, an organised worker and a resilient individual. I pride myself on the quality of my work and am always eager to learn more and become better.Aside from programming and video games, some of my other interests include Karate (which I have been practising for over 17 years, as both a student and as an instructor), board games/TTRPGs, legends/folklore/mythology, reading and hiking.
