•Management of Faults related to Reliance Data Backbone Network (RDN) which completely deals with JUNIPER M/T series routers begin with M10i to T320 and CISCO 76XX routers at access layer.•To manage Reliance Internet Backbone Network (RIN) made by ALCATEL LUCENT routers.•To look after Data Communication Backbone Network (DCN) which is used for Out Of Band management of RDN & RIN devices in critical outages. •Handling Fault tickets & Trouble tickets of data network and coordinating with Field Engineer at site to get it resolved.•Escalation and coordination of Hardware & Software related issue to different vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent.•Co-ordinate with service provider like FLAG, NIXI, BHARTI Telecom, TATA telecom, BSNL, SIFY, UUNET, AKAMMAI and SPECTRANET for eBGP peering, IP announcement and IP registration related issues. •Handling traffic issues of Signaling, Voice & Data services.•Handling Network Management tools like MRTG, Info Vista, RANCID, RADB,Route lookup, Clarity AMS, SAM, OSPF Traps browser, Router Syslogs.•Approving and conducting Planned Events for critical maintenance activities, ensuring minimum outage.•JUNOS and IOS upgradation on JUNIPER and CISCO routers.
