To give a brief background, I graduated high school one year early and immediately entered the workforce. An industrious self- starter, I progressed quickly from dish washer to full time Assistant Manager of a high volume restaurant. Initiative, leadership, and outstanding customer service skills were developed hands on, which I am grateful for as they are necessary in all industries. Now having served in various positions over my tenure with service related positions, I feel confident the skills and passion for both constant growth and quality service (to customers and my company) would be a great asset to a prospective employer. My interest in the technical and IT field led me to explore the world of computers as a hobby initially. The more I discovered, the more passionate I became, which in 2003 led me to my mentor, a top tier IBM Network Support Technician. He educated his passionate “protégé” in various facets of computer sciences, including hardware configurations, network building and diagnostic approaches. I continued tirelessly endeavoring to become proficient in areas including forum support (technical and design), tutorial writing and research. Curiosity getting the best of me, I even took simulated A+ and MCDST “certification” practice tests, which I completed with exemplary scores. At this point, I am certain this career path is my calling, and am looking to obtain an entry level position that will utilize my current skills, and offer the further learning needed to grow in a professional capacity. I have the dedication, drive and initiative that are necessary to be a great asset to a company that values loyal and exceptional employees. I am confident that this position is the ideal opportunity for both my professional development, and a long term mutually beneficial relationship with the right employer.
