I am an excellent interpersonal communicator specializing in peacemaking and building positive, lasting connections. I quickly acquire new skills and have been recognized as a diligent worker.As a musician, I have performed for thousands of programs both as a soloist and with ensembles ranging in scale from symphony orchestras to brass trios. I currently play with two local symphony orchestras and regularly engage as a contracted musician for church programs and other special events. I have directed musical groups including choirs, orchestras, handbell groups and small ensembles. These groups have been comprised of professionals and volunteers alike and I am consistently able to maximize their output relative to size and skill. I regularly compose music for soloists, congregational use and full musical productions.As an educator and ordained minister, I have been privileged to focus on serving individuals to meet their needs. During my time as a music pastor, I built positive rapport with a mid-sized congregation through face-to-face conversation, phone calls and hospital visits. As a long-term substitute for several band directors, I demonstrated flexibility and quick approachable leadership to garner the respect of new groups of students.
