Additionally, performs contact lens training classes and can answer many of your contact lens related questions. • Efficient preparation of patient charts for physician (procedures, informed consents, last visit notes).• Proficient organization and maintenance of clinical supplies.• Efficiently utilizes photo optical equipment (including Retinal Imaging, OCT and Topography) to gather optometric diagnostic information. Responsible for taking intraocular pressures, operating lensometry, keratometry, auto refractors, visual field testing, muscle testing and visual acuity.• Instruct patients with medications, tests, and procedures.• Solely responsible for contact lens inventory and purchase orders. As well as handling all patient sales, orders, exchanges and returns.
