I hold a Level 2 EOCP Wastewater Treatment certificate and practice as a Wastewater Operator 1 at the District of Sechelt Class 4 Water Resource Centre. In this role I combine my Operator experience with my education in Mechanical Engineering to help keep our state of the art facility running to the best of its ability. I enjoy learning on the job everyday and having the opportunity to be a leader for my organization and industry.

In this role I acted as the Wastewater Supervisor to maintain operations and direct staff at the wastewater treatment plant whenever the primary supervisor is vacant. This role allows me to build on my leadership within the Wastewater Department and to have a bigger positive impact on the organization.

In this volunteer role I was responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all SCSAR mobile equipment including vehicles, mobile response equipment, and various other related equipment. Additionally, I was responsible for directing other SAR personnel in the proper use and care of the above listed equipment as well as reporting to the SCSAR Executive Board in terms of budget, planning, scheduling and status of the mobile equipment.
