Led a team executing on Premier Support Sales and Delivery Consulting of Microsoft Software products including Cloud, Digital Transformation, Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture and Software implementation and integration.Achieved all Sales and Revenue targets by providing one on one as well as group coaching to the team. I stepped in when required to support with closing deals as well as to support in client relationship management to ensure that client satisfaction for longer term retention.
After Leading the Delivery Team in successfully turning around Customer Satisfaction and Delivery issues, I was then appointed to lead Lab Services for IBM South Africa. This role included IBM Software Services Sales and Delivery as well as Sales and Delivery of IBM Training and Education (Hardware and Software Solutions) for both online and classroom-based training.I successfully led the business to exceed targets quarter after quarter and with the improvement of 288% on revenue, was recognised as the best-performing Lab Services unit in MEA, occasionally outdone by Turkey our biggest rival at the time. After years of unsatisfactory findings on compliance and governance, I turned the business around to zero audit findings three years in a row. I achieved this by reviewing all processes and controls as well as staff education and training on processes to bring this to satisfactory audit findings.During my stint, IBM worldwide launched a program to outsource Training and Education to the private sector. This program was a hugely complex undertaking, and I managed to migrate the South Africa IBM Education business into the private sector successfully with my contributions to the broader team on implementation solutions as well as leading amicable negotiations with the local business partner community that I worked with for some years and who were now impacted by this transition.
